In slightly diluted alcohol a floral musky, sweet and pleasant.
Performs as an ageing mellowing agent in flavour compositions up to 0.7 ppm used. The fixative effect is easily recognized at 0.5% to 1.0% levels. It is a replacement of any nitro cyclic musk compounds. It is used in perfumes, fine fragrances, floral musk-like odor and also in flavouring & food essence.
